Eastern Celebrates 2023
Whether you plan to attend Eastern Celebrates in person, virtually, or not at all, we hope you will take a few moments to update your contact information for your records, provide an update on your life and career that we may share with the Eastern Alumni family in “Alumni Notes” in Eastern Magazine, share a favorite memory that we’ll pass along to your classmates, and make a much needed and much appreciated gift to an endowed scholarship fund to support future generations of Eastern students.
Since Eastern Celebrates debuted in May 2006, there has been no charge for alumni to attend, courtesy of the ECSU Foundation, Inc. But as the demand for student financial aid has grown, so have the demands on the Foundation to provide financial aid to deserving students who want to stay at Eastern to finish their degrees. Therefore, the Office of Alumni Affairs has been asked to impose a nominal fee of $20 per person for all alumni and their guests, and $5 for children under 12. The registration fee entitles you to attend all events, including all events where food will be served, (the Reunion Reception with the President, the Eastern Celebrates/Family Day Luncheon, Alumni of Color Networking, and Reunion Happy Hour at Blarney’s . Considering all there is to see and do and eat in a wonderful environment to reconnect with friends, this is still a bargain, and I hope it will not deter you from attending, nor do I hope it will deter you from making a scholarship fund gift. In honor of the 50th Anniversary of their graduation, the Class of 1973 may still attend free of charge, courtesy of the ECSU Foundation.
